SENIOR CARE

The elderly patient requires increased attention.

Cats are considered elderly when they reach 8-10 years of age. Depending on the breed, dogs reach old age between 7 (large breeds and their crossbreeds) and 10 years (smaller breeds and their crossbreeds).

For pets entering their senior years, we offer a special geriatric assessment including a complete physical examination of age related symptoms and a blood test.

If necessary, the investigation is completed by a cardiac examination.

Nowadays, a variety of measures can be taken to facilitate the aging process so that your pet can continue to experience a high quality of life. Ask us!
